This means Alpine had a vacant seat as well that many, including Alpine, believe will be filled by their promising reserve driver Oscar Piastre. So they naively announced it.
Because a few hours after the team announced the “upgrade” of the Biastri, Biastri himself announced that he would not be driving to the Alps where he was said to have his eyesight and shoot for a seat in a McLaren.

As it stands now, JGR has no answers to the sponsor’s question. And Kyle Bush doesn’t have leads in the team that would take him with whatever he wants.
Although Bush recently admitted it ready to reduce wages. But if you know anything about these things, you know that this situation is not over yet.
